TabMaster Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of TabMaster (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operated under the legal business name TabMaster. TabMaster is a native macOS utility for searching and switching browser tabs across Chrome, Edge, Brave, and other Chromium-based browsers, paired with a companion browser extension. TabMaster is sold as a one-time purchase — a lifetime license, not a subscription — and is free to try first. There are no user accounts: your license is activated on the Mac you use it on.

License

TabMaster is offered as a one-time purchase — a lifetime license for $9.99, not a subscription. Your license grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app on Macs you own or control. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

A single license may be activated on one Mac at a time. You can deactivate it from within the app to move your license to another Mac. The license includes future updates to the app at no additional cost.

Browser extension

TabMaster works together with a free companion browser extension, TabMaster Bridge, which you install in each Chromium-based browser you want to manage (Chrome, Edge, Brave, and others). The desktop app relies on the extension to sync your open tabs and perform tab actions, so the app has limited functionality until a supported browser with the extension is connected. The extension is provided under these Terms and communicates only with the desktop app on the same device over a local connection; its data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for installing the extension only in browsers you own or are authorized to use, and for keeping it up to date.

Acceptable use

  • Do not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute TabMaster without permission.
  • Use the app only in compliance with applicable laws and browser terms.
  • Do not use TabMaster to bypass security controls or access data you are not authorized to view.
  • Do not share, resell, or publish license keys, or attempt to circumvent the activation limit or the license-verification system.

Free trial

TabMaster is free to try for 7 days, with no payment details and no account required. When the trial ends, core tab actions — switching, closing, and moving tabs — are locked until you activate a valid license. The trial is offered once per device.

License verification

To confirm your license is valid and within its activation limit, TabMaster verifies it over the internet from time to time. The app keeps working offline for a grace period, but extended offline use, or a license that has been refunded or revoked, may lock core features until the app can verify again. You are responsible for keeping your license key secure.

Payments

The lifetime license is charged once. There is no recurring fee, no auto-renewal, and nothing to cancel. You authorize us or our payment partners to charge the license fee, applicable taxes, and any currency conversion fees using the payment method you provide at checkout. Prices are shown in USD.

Refund Policy

Customers are entitled to request a full refund within 14 days of their purchase. This refund policy applies regardless of payment method. To request a refund, contact support@tabmaster.app with your order details. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, subject to the processing timelines of the payment partner used at checkout. A refunded or charged-back purchase revokes its license, and the app will stop unlocking core features on your devices.

Payments and Refund Processing

Payments and refunds are processed by our authorized payment partners. Dodo Payments acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions in accordance with Dodo Payments' Buyer Terms and Conditions.

Availability and updates

We may deliver updates to improve performance, add features, or address security issues. Certain updates may be required to continue using the service. Availability of features can vary by OS version and browser support.

Disclaimer

TabMaster is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits arising from use of TabMaster.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms. You may stop using TabMaster at any time; uninstalling removes local data stored by the app.

Privacy

Your use of TabMaster is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using the service, you agree to that policy.
